As 2025 quickly winds down, I’ve been reflecting on the past year and the growth we’ve experienced—both personally and as an organization. For me, this has been a year defined by expanding knowledge: knowledge of purpose, of franchising, and of what it means to truly support one another across Home Brands.
At the start of the year, I was sitting in one seat within our organization… and that has evolved. Bringing in an exceptionally knowledgeable finance professional has transformed what Home Brands is able to offer our franchisees. CVR’s expertise has not only strengthened our systems but has pushed me to grow into a new role and embrace new responsibilities within the team.
As a new franchisee myself, I’m learning every day. Hearing the stories of our successful CSM franchisees motivates me to dig into what drives their performance—and how PLP can replicate and build on that success. My own knowledge base in marketing continues to expand, supported by a team deeply committed to generating single-unit leads. Our CSR team remains the best I’ve ever worked with: empathetic, effective, and consistently aligned with our customers’ needs. I am grateful for everything I’ve learned from each of you and for the opportunity EW entrusted me with.
Looking ahead to 2026, my goal is simple: to keep learning. To better understand how to grow a franchise market, how to build a new one from the ground up, and how to become a true expert in the PLP world. I am committed to helping this brand grow into something nationally recognized, trusted, and undeniably valuable.
There’s a saying that “ignorance is bliss.” But in reality, ignorance has no place on a team with ambition, drive, and the desire to win. At Home Brands, knowledge is a virtue—the foundation of applied wisdom—and it empowers us to serve others with humility and impact.
