Grateful Enough to Tell the Truth

Hey team,

Our Virtue this week is Candid.

Since it’s Thanksgiving week, I want to talk about candor not just as a leadership tool, but as a sign of respect and gratitude.

Being candid means you care enough to be clear.
It means you value someone enough to tell the truth, even when it might be uncomfortable.

Too often, we mistake gratitude for politeness.

When we avoid candor, small issues become bigger ones. When we speak up, we solve problems faster..

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy.”
— Proverbs 27:6 (ESV)

So this week, don’t just say thank you.

Be honest.
Tell someone you appreciate them.
Tell them what they need to hear to improve.(Not your mother-in-law)

Candor is not harshness. It is clarity.

And it is one of the most practical ways we build trust.

Grateful for you all,
