Evan Wilson is the founder and CEO of Home Brands, a family of home service franchises including Crawlspace Medic, Punch List Pros, Sunrise Electric, and Dumpster Mule. Evan views his journey as one of stewardship rather than personal achievement, guided by faith and supported by the talent and dedication of the people around him. He is a husband and father of four, and his family remains the central motivation behind all he does.
Evan began his entrepreneurial journey in 2008 with Wilson Co., a real estate investment and custom home-building business in Columbia, South Carolina. Seeing recurring crawl space issues during home inspections inspired him to launch Crawlspace Medic, which expanded quickly and began franchising in 2016.
Today, Evan’s mission is simple: to help franchisees steward their opportunities, build strong businesses, and create lasting impact for their families, teams, and communities.

Jon Dando is Co-Founder and Brand President of Crawlspace Medic, Home Brands’ fastest-growing home services franchise. Under his leadership, the brand has grown from a single location in Columbia, South Carolina to 28 active franchise units across 77 territories.
Jon works closely with franchise owners as a mentor and coach, helping them launch, scale, and lead profitable businesses. With a background in leadership development and mentorship from his 12 years with Campus Crusade for Christ, he is committed to building not just strong companies, but strong leaders who can grow with confidence.
Chris VanRoekel
Chief Financial Officer
Chris VanRoekel is Chief Financial Officer of Home Brands, where he leads financial strategy, capital planning, and reporting to support scalable, profitable growth across the franchise system. He works closely with franchise owners and executive leadership to ensure disciplined financial management and strong unit-level economics.
Chris combines senior financial leadership experience with hands-on knowledge of the trades, having worked in construction, manufacturing, and as a general contractor. This blend of practical and strategic expertise allows him to guide franchisees in building sustainable, well-run businesses while maintaining long-term financial health and operational excellence.
Johnnie Matthews
Chief Marketing Officer
Johnnie Matthews is Chief Marketing Officer of Home Brands, where he sets the marketing vision, leads lead-generation efforts, and manages a team of in-house and contract marketers. He focuses on results-driven marketing that delivers measurable return for franchisees, combining strategic clarity with accountability.
Johnnie’s career spans music, tech, and branding—experiences that taught him marketing, PR, budgeting, and leadership firsthand. He helped scale Crawlspace Medic from 8 to 25 locations through aggressive SEO and co-founded Heritage Brands to provide marketing strategy and fractional leadership for a variety of organizations. Today, he is dedicated to building a performance-driven marketing engine that empowers Home Brands franchisees to grow efficiently and profitably.

Jason Burbage is Chief Strategy Officer at Home Brands, where he leads franchise development and helps shape the strategy behind a growing portfolio of home service brands. With more than 20 years of experience building and scaling businesses, Jason brings a proven track record of creating systems, developing leaders, and driving sustainable growth. As a founding partner and former President of National Land Realty, he helped grow the company from a regional operation into a nationally recognized firm.
Today, Jason works closely with franchise owners to ensure they have clear operating models, strong unit economics, and the leadership support needed to build real, profitable businesses—not just buy a job. As the daughter of a home builder, she grew up around job sites and tradespeople, giving her a genuine understanding of what ownership in the home service space truly requires. Before joining the team, she spent a decade as a professional performing artist with Disney—and coached fellow artists one-on-one, helping them pursue opportunities aligned with their strengths and long-term goals. That same instinct drives her work today. Emily leads with thoughtful listening and a relationship-first approach, focused on honest conversations that serve the candidate as much as the brand. Her goal is to connect the right people with Crawlspace Medic, and help both grow for long-term success.

Jim Guido is President of Sunrise Electric Co and a member of Home Brands’ executive leadership team. He leads the Sunrise Electric franchise group and, as a franchisee himself, mentors owners in operations, finance, sales, and marketing. Jim draws on decades of experience starting and leading businesses, from early work in the trades to executive roles in technology and multiple business ownerships.
